PROYECTOR - COIMBRA EXTENSION

The Space for Arts, Multimedia and Performance welcome an extension of the 5th edition of the International Festival of Video Art Proyector 2012, in partnership with the FONLAD Festival (PT). 

PRYECTOR is a festival focused on video art that takes place every year in Madrid, with an extension in Coimbra.
The Space for Arts, Multimedia and Performance welcome an intervention by the French artist Raphael Larre, that especially travel to Portugal to present a video installation centered on the stories "Le Petit Chaperon Rouge" and "Le Petit Poucet".







RAPHAEL LARRE

Having obtained a diploma from the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris in 2005 with honors from the jury, Raphaël Larre became resident artistic section of the Casa de Velazquez in Madrid from 2006 to 2008.
Raphaël's goal is the pursuit of design in the broadest sense of the term. Performs motion videos of drawings inspired by everyday and today.
Regularly he collaborates with visual artists, music composers and sound to accomplish several projects or multidisciplinary performances "The Fluxus thing" (House of  Velazquez, Madrid; Solitud Akademi, Stuttgart), "Metaphases de los Sentidos y Espacios" (Espacio Menos Uno, Madrid), Ruidocracia (Madrid).

He participated in several personal and collective exhibitions: Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Plastic Art Circuit and photography (Madrid), Ruidocracia (performances, Madrid), Domaine de la Garenne Départemental Lemot (Clisson), Galerie Popy Arvani (Paris).
He developed a
intersonic platform  with the sound artist Daniel Xavier Gonzalez "Meta-Chroniques de l'Actualité", audiovisual performances for Cordoba (Argentina) thanks to a grant from the Centre National des Arts Plastiques which supports research and the creation and designed several performances in which the design plays an important role, as in Paris or more recently in Uberlândia (Brazil). 
He is currently a professor of art education at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Toulouse and is represented by Galerie Popy Arvani (Paris).
